About this worksheet
Six sentences, each beside a picture of what it describes: a fish in a bowl, a red wagon, a pie on a table, a bike, a bee on a flower and a cat on a rug. The child underlines the nouns and then colors the pictures.
The picture gives a child a head start, since at least one noun in every sentence is drawn right next to it. Most sentences have two nouns, though, so the picture is only part of the answer. Tom and Jen are in there too, as reminders that names are nouns.
What students will practice
- Underline the nouns in a sentence
