Bunting across the top and bottom, a speech-bubble title, and five rows: mouse against cheese, house and cat; chair against table, apple and pear; whale against a pail, a shark and a shovel; train against bus, road and rain; and crown against castle, a gown and a sword.
The hardest of the picture pages in this set, and deliberately so. Two rows hinge on naming a picture the less obvious way: the bucket has to be a “pail” and the dress has to be a “gown.” Say those two out loud together first. Once the names are settled the sounds are easy, and the difficulty is entirely in the vocabulary rather than the rhyming.
