About this worksheet
An owl perched on a pencil, a scalloped border, and five rows of chunky pictures: star against leaf, car and bell; bee against boot, tree and fan; clock against apple, cup and sock; snake against pencil, mouse and rake; and goat against boat, drum and hat.
The friendliest of the four picture-only pages here. Every answer is a common word a four or five year old already says daily, and the drawings are large enough for a fat crayon, so a child who is still working on staying inside the lines gets a fair page.
