About this worksheet
Ten nouns on the left and ten pronouns on the right, with a dot beside each. The child draws a line from the noun to the pronoun that can take its place: my sister to she, the bus to it, Lily and I to we.
Each of the five pronouns appears twice, so the right-hand column works as a quiet check: if a pronoun is left over at the end, one line needs another look.
Watch the pairs that end in “and I.” It is the first place many first graders reach for they, and saying the sentence out loud (“Mom and I went” becomes “We went”) usually settles it.
