About this worksheet
Six short sentences with the naming words underlined: Max has a red ball, Ana and Jo like to swim, Dad and I go to the park. Under each is the same sentence with a blank where those words were, and the child writes the pronoun that fits.
Seeing the sentence written out twice makes the swap easy to understand: the words before and after stay the same, and only the underlined part changes. Have a child read the new sentence aloud to hear that it still makes sense.
