About this worksheet
A grid of twenty boxes between a puppy and its doghouse. Each box holds a noun, and the child colors only the ones that go with they (the kids, two hats, my friends, the bees) to make a path from start to finish.
The reminder under the instructions says it plainly: they means more than one. Words like my sister, Grandma and the bus sit right next to the path, so a child has to read every box rather than follow the pictures.
If the path stops short of the doghouse, a box was missed or colored by mistake, so the puzzle shows a child where to look again.
